Maybe what you really want is to sit down for a meal in a small town that would never appear on a conventional itinerary, step into a local market one morning, explore a region through its food, meet the people who make its wine, discover a hidden bookshop, or make it to the town your great-grandfather left. That's how we think about travel.
At Sconfinia we design 100% personalized experiences, built from scratch around your interests, your history, your schedule and your way of traveling. You don't choose between our itineraries, because we don't have predetermined itineraries: we get to know you first, then we design yours.
Your trip should look like you
Before proposing a route, we want to know what moves you. History? Art? Food? Architecture? Literature? Nature? Wine? Small towns? Big cities? Your own family's history? Based on your answers, we research, select and build an experience where every choice has a purpose — combining the major sights you always wanted to see with local experiences, less-traveled destinations and corners you'd be hard-pressed to find on a conventional circuit. The goal isn't necessarily to see more — it's to come home feeling like you got to know more.
Connect With Your Roots
There are places you've never been that, in a way, are also part of your story. Over the years, our experience in citizenship and international mobility has led us to piece together family lines, search for records and locate the European towns entire generations once left to start a new life far from home. That's where Connect With Your Roots comes from.
We can research your family's origins, locate the town or city your ancestors came from, and build your trip around that story: reaching the square they once knew, stepping into the church where they may have married, finding the record that holds their name, walking the streets they walked before emigrating, and getting to know the region, its customs and its flavors. And then weaving that experience together with everything else you want to discover.
Your roots can be where the itinerary begins, but never its limit: if you need visas, travel insurance, documentation or want to travel with your pet, we can build those needs into the same journey, so you don't have to coordinate every part separately.
